This happens if the pillow ends up on the face of the baby if he grasped it accidentally. The baby will be suffocated if he fails to remove the pillow from his face. In some cases, the baby may get too close to the baby, causing him to get suffocated.
Rebreathing is another leading cause of SIDS. Medically speaking it is when the baby breathes carbon dioxide or bad air, as what it is more commonly known.

They positioning the baby so that they are flat on their back, which is the recommended sleep position. However, there are new versions of these types of pillows that I like even better. The new version of this pillow has memory foam which will mold to the shape of baby’s head, making it mold to the pillow The memory foam will help to prevent a flat area from forming on baby’s head. This pillow will also help baby to have a peaceful night of sleep because they will not be able to roll around. they are positioned in one way all night.

There can be a risk of the child suffocating with the use of a baby pillow, particularly when he or she is less than two years of age. It is recommended that you avoid down and feathers at first, to minimize allergic irritation and because those type of pillows are often too fluffy and big for a child. We followed these guidelines when introducing a baby pillow to our almost 3 year old daughter recently when we moved her to a big bed. We would put her to sleep with her head on the baby pillow, but whenever we would check on her, the pillow would be somewhere else in the bed. The tiny pillow would often get lost too. After a couple weeks, we ditched the baby pillow and got her a normal sized pillow.
